Rosie O'Donnell to Tape New Talk Show at Harpo Studios

There will be life for Oprah Winfrey's West Loop studios after she wraps production of her eponymous talks show and rides into the sunset in a gold-trimmed 2011 VW Beetle painted in the unnatural colors of her network logo with Gayle King in tow. The Harpo studios will be the home of a new talk show from friend, then foe, now friend again Rosie O'Donnell for the Oprah Winfrey Network.
IN a taped message to the Winfrey staff, O'Donnell said, “Thank you, Oprah. And thank all you people there. Some of you are going to be sticking around and helping us make a kick-ass show for the Oprah Winfrey Network.” It's unknown how many Oprah Winfrey Show staffers will still have jobs once O'Donnell's show begins production.
At one point, O'Donnell's previous daytime venture was seen as a competitor to Winfrey. But it's Oprah's world, she only allows us to live in it.
