I Can See My House From Here

Check out this shot of Chicago from the International Space Station, which has been making the rounds. It's a stunning photograph both for its beauty and as an example of how rampant light pollution can be. We've flown into O'Hare or Midway at night and sometimes the descent gives us the feeling of landing in the middle of a fire.
