Early and Often, the subscription-based political news website that was a partnership between the Chicago News Cooperative, Center Square Journal/Roscoe View Journal publisher (and Chicagoist alum) Mike Fourcher and Jimm Dispensa of Aldertrack fame, has ceased updates as of today.

In an e-mail, Fourcher said that, with the mayoral and aldermanic election cycle complete, ENO had run its course and would no longer be updating the site or sending out its Morning Palm Card emails, although the content still up at ENO will still be available to subscribers. As for a return to regular updates in the future, Fourcher told us, "sure. Never say never."

UPDATE: Dan Mihalopoulos of Chicago News Co-Op called us to correct a couple of items from the Fourcher e-mail. First. the Palm Cards will still continue to be sent out, authored by CBC's Hunter Clauss. Second, the ENO blog will continue to live on with that name under the CNC website.
