Eddie Spaghetti's Bloodshot debut, Sundowner, flows in a more traditional country vein than the high octane melding of metal, punk and country associated with his work in the Supersuckers. Spaghetti gives unlikely covers by Dean Martin, Del Reeves, the Dwarves and the Lee Harvey Oswald Band a country twang that works amazingly well. Spaghetti will celebrate the release of Sundowner with a 21+ record release party 8:30 tonight at the Abbey Pub. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door.

Food
Want a taste of Baconfest, even if you didn’t get tickets? One of our favorite concotions, a bacon Manhattan milkshake, is going on the menu at Chalkboard. Chef Gilbert Langlois has occasionally served alcoholic milkshakes in the past, but this might be their ultimate peak - two of our favorite things combined together in our favorite drink format. The drink will be on the dessert menu starting tomorrow and will cost $10. It won’t be around forever, so go in and grab it now.

Jazz
For you after work Loop folks, Andy's Jazz Club is the place for post-shift drinks and cool jazz from Black Slang 3rio. Trumpeter Corey Wilkes, drummer Anthony Capers and keyboardist Greg Spero play original compositions and jazzed-up takes on Radiohead covers. Don't let the touristy confines of Andy's scare you away. (11 E. Hubbard, 5:30-8 p.m., $5)
