Cubs 8, Rockies 3

Well that was a change a of pace. Coming off a 5-0 loss to the Rockies Friday, the Cubs snapped Colorado's 7-game winning streak in an 8-3 win Saturday. Casey Coleman gave up 4 hits in six innings.

Starlin Castro who went 4 for 5 with a three-run homer led the Cubs' 17-hit frenzy and Alfonso Soriano also went deep. The Cubs ended a six-game losing streak at Coors Field dating back to Aug. 2009. They wrap up their series in Colorado Sunday afternoon.

White Sox 7, Angels 2

After a two-plus hour rain delay, Gavin Floyd took a 7-2 White Sox loss to the Angels, yielding 6 runs and 8 hits over six innings and allowed hits to the leadoff batter in each of the first four innings.

There was some hope as Carlos Quentin hit his 100th career home run in the fifth and Paul Konerko hit his fourth home run o ht season with two outs in the ninth.

Juan Pierre had two hits and reached base three times for the Sox, but didn't last long. He was caught stealing third and is 4-9 on stolen base attempts this season.

The White Sox will wrap their series at home vs. the Angels Sunday before heading to Tampa Bay.
