If you haven’t ventured inside cibo matto before, now is the time. The restaurant is hosting a special event tonight called “Perfect Pairs,” which will combine small bites and champagnes. Scared of cibo matto’s prices? The event is only $20 per person, and a sommelier will be on hand to tell you more about the pairings. It runs from 6-7 p.m. tonight - great for an after work treat. Call 312-239-9502 for more information or to reserve a spot. (201 N. State Street).

Tonight is the debut of “Tables for Two” at Lokal. The Wicker Park eatery will be offering a special prix fixe meal for two every Wednesday. For $36 (for both of you), the dining couple will get a shared appetizer and two entrees. Try the lobster pierogi appetizer and finish with the seared scallops with tomato jam - two of our favorites. The deal starts at 5 p.m. tonight. Call 773-904-8113 to make a reservation. (1904 W. North Avenue)

Tonight is also Bourbon and BBQ night at one sixtyblue. Get three styles of barbecue for only $12 and pair it with a selected craft bourbon for an extra $6. Also, there will be blues from musician Gerry Hunt from 6-9 p.m. (1440 W. Randolph St.)

MIlwaukee Ave., 7:30 p.m., $5)
