A Joliet man received an unwelcome surprise fleeing from police. Domonique Loggins was arguing with his girlfriend in their car over cigarettes hen he punched her in the mouth. Here's where it gets interesting.

His girlfriend drove the car to the Joliet police station to file a report of the incident. Loggins got out of the car and ran from police. Loggins wound up in Bicentennial Park, in the middle of a police training session. As members of the training session watched, Loggins was retained by police, then broke free again and eventually caught a short time later by a Joliet police commander.

Loggins was charged with domestic battery and fleeing the police. The ultimate lesson here is: don't smoke.
