Better Government Association Answering Windy Citizen Questions, Hosting Journalism Roundtable

By Chuck Sudo in News on May 3, 2011 6:40PM

2011_5_3_BGA.jpg Members of the Better Government Association investigative team have been answering reader questions at Windy Citizen today. One of the revelations in the Q&A from BGA Editor of Investigations Robert Herguth has been their setting up a Tumblr blog dedicated to the Blagojevich retrial. For politics and Blago wonks, this should be in your bookmarks by the time you finish reading this sentence.

The BGA isn't stopping with today's Q&A in carrying the torch for investigative journalism in town. Tomorrow, they'll be hosting an investigative journalism roundtable from 2:30-3:30 p.m. at Loyola University-Regents Hall (111 E. Pearson). The panelists cut across a wide array of media platforms including ABC News Chief Investigative Correspondent Brian Ross, Chicago Tribune News Applications Editor Brian Boyer, WBEZ South Side Bureau Reporter Natalie Moore, Rick Tulsky, Director of Medill's Watchdog/Accountability Initiative, and Herguth. Crain's Chicago Business anchor/reporter Lisa Leiter will moderate. This panel is free to attend in person with RSVP. If you can't make it, BGA will live stream the roundtable at Bettergov.org.
