Oprah's Network President Shown the Door

When your boss is Oprah Winfrey, results are demanded (unless you're Gayle King). And with the Big O now able to focus her attentions to her vanity network, heads have started rolling at the Oprah Winfrey Network.

OWN CEO Christina Norman has abruptly left the company. That's a nice way of saying "your services are no longer required." OWN, which debuted in January, has suffered from struggling ratings since its launch. Discovery Communications COO Peter Liguori will fill in for Norman until a permanent CEO is hired. Discovery is partners with Winfrey in OWN.
