Morning Box Score: Ramirez, Buehrle Pace White Sox

By Chuck Sudo in News on May 16, 2011 3:20PM

White Sox 4, A's 3

It started by taking two out of three games from Seattle. Suddenly the White Sox have won three straight series for the first time all season. The Men in Black accomplished a rare feat of winning a series in Oakland and Mark Buehrle the even more rare accomplishment of winning a game in Oakland. Buehrle pitched 6.1 innings and received support at the plate from shortstop Alexei Ramirez, who hit a home run and drove in two runs. The White Sox return to U.S. Cellular Field tonight to take on the defending AL Champion Texas Rangers (7:10 p.m., CSN, WSCR-AM 670, WRTO 1200 AM for Spanish).
