Music

Tonight's "collision_theory" at Links Hall brings Bay area percussionist/electronic musician Alex Vittum together for the first time by prolific Chicago bass clarinetist Jason Stein to constitute the music component of the performance. Ohio-based choreographer/dancer/writer Colleen Leonardi and her collaborator Lily Skove are collision_theory alumnae, having created a dance video for Spooky Action—last season’s night of ‘silent movies.’ While these subtle and nuanced performers have never worked together, it stands to reason that their shared background will in some respect inform and unify their collaboration. (3435 N. Sheffield Ave., 7:30 p.m. Tickets available here.
