Need we remind you why today is a historic occasion?
Our new Mayor takes office later this morning. Is Rahm Emanuel going to follow through on the rhetoric of his campaign? Or will he become another Elective Majesty? We're taking a wait-and-see approach right now (more on that in a bit). The weather. however, couldn't be more cooperative. It'll be partly cloudy with a projected high of 55 degrees. If you're heading to Millennium Park for the inauguration, bring a windbreaker. It's supposed to be gusty outside.
