chicagoLogo.jpeg May is the month for wine-tasting events! The latest in the line-up, Around The World in 80 Sips, hosted by Bottlenotes, will be held this Friday at the Museum of Contemporary Art. Visitors will be able to sample more than 80 different wines from all over the globe, plus cheese and charcuterie. Best of all, Chicagoist readers get a discount!

The event, running from 8-10 P.M., was a sold-out hit last year and promises to be so again, so buy your tickets in advance. If you're a real wine nerd, there is a VIP tasting from 7-8, featuring wines that won't be poured at the main event - it costs an extra $50. The cost for the regular event is $75, and the VIP is $125. If you use the code "Chicagoist," you can get $15 off. $60 for 80 wines isn't a bad deal at all.

The Museum of Contemporary Art is located at 220 E. Chicago Avenue.
