Food/Beer

We can’t imagine a better place to spend part of Craft Beer Week than The Bluebird. On Tuesday, May 24th, from 7:30-9:30, they are hosting a workshop on “The Wonder of Trappist Ales.” According to Bluebird, “the light will shine on every gorgeous, productive Trappist abbey (minus the one you have to wait in a queue for outside the brewery).” There will be food to accompany all the drinks, and the whole thing is only $35. Tickets will probably sell out, so email info@bluebirdchicago.com to reserve your spot. (1749 N. Damen)

Art

Today is the final day to view Chip Duggan's The Urban Quiet. Duggan is an has been climbing Chicago architecture for the past eight months as a remedy for his urban experience. From that, Duggan has created a multi-dimensional show documenting these adventures with video, photographs, light installation, concrete casts and a guidebook to the routes he scaled in his adventures. His journey has captured the attention of a documentary film maker and others. (Columbia College Art Gallery, 1104 S. Wabash, 2nd floor)
