Afternoon Box Score: Garland's Return to South Side Rocky

Jon Garland was an integral part of the White Sox 2005 World Series championship. In his first game back at U.S. Cellular Field since he left the Sox in 2007, Garland was roughed up for seven runs and 11 hits over 3.2 innings. Alex Rios's 2-run home run off Garland opened the floodgates as the White Sox offense broke out today. Mark Buehrle earned his 4th win of the season and looked good on the mound with seven innings of 7-hit ball.
The Sox go for the series win tomorrow.
