Morning Box Score: Danks May Be Odd Man Out

The White Sox have been rolling with a six-man starting rotation since Jake Peavy's return from latissmus dorsi surgery, which is a good problem to have since the starting pitching has been, for the most part, as advertised. But Ozzie Guillen indicated that the experiment may be done by the time the team's current road trip ends June 1. John Danks, who dropped to 0-7 last night despite pitching a complete game, may be the odd man out. Danks just appears snakebitten right now. He's giving the team quality starts but has no margin for error between giving up runs and a lack of offense from his teammates. Danks gave up home runs to Josh Hamilton and Nelson Cruz, while the Sox offense only was able to muster five singles against Alexi Ogando, who pitched a complete game for the Rangers.
