The questioning of Mike Quade's constant moving of Starlin Castro in the Cubs' batting order grows louder by the game. But right now, Castro is Quade's most reliable bat. HItting in the three-hole last night, Castro went 3-for-5 with two RBI to tie for the team lead with Alfonso Soriano and Darwin Barney, who also drove in two. Most of the lineup was hot, even Carlos Zambrano connected for a pinch-hit, two run single late in the game. It was more than enough for Ryan Dempster to pick up his third win of the season in seven innings of work.
Not even a three-hour delay for severe weather could keep this game from becoming official. Carlos Quentin was a monster at the plate with a three-home run, 5 RBI evening. Adam Dunn added a solo shot to pace the White Sox. Jake Peavy didn't return after that delay, so Tony Pena picked up the win and Ozzie Guillen burned through his bullpen to get to Sergio Santos, who notched his 7th save.
