Your Morning Wake-Up Call for June 1, 2011

On the day when civil unions are officially recognized in Illinois, Good Morning. It's perfect weather for heading down to the county building and waiting in line for a civil union license. We might even get a notion to leave our Bridgeport headquarters, head outside and work. The heat and humidity have receded to acceptable levels and the sun is shining proudly down on us today, with a projected high of 79 degrees per Skilling Central. Summer isn't official for another two weeks, but it looks as though it's here just a bit early.
