The Murphy Brothers Beer Passport Series gets under way 7 p.m. this evening at Mrs. Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro (3905 N. Lincoln Ave.). Tonight's session will focus on summer beers from Victory Brewing, Ska Brewing and others. Reservations are strongly recommended, call 773-248-3905, and the cost is $10.

From the Kitchen to the DJ Booth

The Bristol's Chris Pandel will be showing off his musical acumen when he heads to Old Town Social tonight to do a guest DJ set from 10 p.m. until close. (445 W. North Ave.)

Rosé From Around the World

Webster's Wine Bar (1480 W. Webster Ave., 773-868-0608) is hosting a tasting of ros^#233 wines from around the world tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. They'll be opening 20 new bottlings of juicy dry rosés from Southern France, the Loire, Beaujolais, Lebanon, Northern Italy, Spain, America, and beyond, along with a few older vintages for comparison. Food/Charity

Sola and Executive Chef Carol Wallack, are hosting a fundraiser for Jason Skorup, a Sola employee diagnosed with an unexpected illness. The event, on Sunday, June 26, has no cover, but there will be silent auctions, food, drinks on the patio and even a kissing booth! The best auction item? Dinner for eight people with wine cooked by Chef Carol Wallack and Sprout's Dale Levitski. How much would you pay for that? Things kick off at 5:30 p.m. (3868 N. Lincoln)
