Your Morning Wake-Up Call for June 15, 2011

By Chuck Sudo in News on Jun 15, 2011 12:30PM

It seems fitting that we should have thunderstorms today. On this date in 1964, the Cubs traded a light-hitting outfielder named Lou Brock to the St. Louis Cardinals for pitcher Ernie Broglio. (We all know what happened there.) Also born on this date in 1954, Jim Belushi, the man Steve Dahl calls "the funniest living Belushi." The storms, by the way, are supposed to stay in the area through tomorrow. Your best chance for temps in the 70s are in the south suburbs, otherwise it's cooler within the city limits.
