Can Finding This Man a Wife Be That Hard?

When we first heard about Paul Gutierrez's website dedicated to finding a wife, we wondered if he was serious. Turns out, behind his self-deprecating sense of humor, Gutierrez is dead serious about finding someone to love.

"This is a sincere attempt to find a wife," the Elgin limousine driver told us during a morning phone call. "I'm just trying to have a sense of humor about it." Gutierrez has so far poked fun at his looks, shared a photo of himself in a moose costume protesting an adult bookstore in an attempt to impress someone, shared his humiliating experience with mail order brides (one even climbed out of a window to escape an interview with him).

Gutierrez even had bad luck in his first attempt setting up a website. The more recent version, launched a couple of weeks ago, was the result of Gutierrez receiving emails from people who found his original website and said it didn't look good.

Gutierrez is promising to donate half of his salary (which varies, depending on how much he's working right now) for a year to the charity of choice of the person who introduces him to his potential wife.
