And the score wasn't that close. The Giants hitters were dialed into Doug Davis and a host of relievers this afternoon. Pat Burrell and Aaron Rowand each drove in three for the defending world champs - two of Burrell's three RBI came with a home run - as the Giants racked up 18 hits to take the first game of a day-night doubleheader. Davis was tagged for 10 runs, all earned, in 4-1/3 innings of work. Carlos Pena continued his power surge of late with a two-run shot and Blake DeWitt drove in three for the Cubs.
