New Food Truck Debuts Today - The Slide Ride

A new food truck, created by Chef/Owner Nina Rodriguez, will launch today at Food Truck Tuesdays. The truck, called "The Slide Ride" will serve a menu entirely made up of sliders, those miniature sandwiches made famous by White Castle and made fancy by a million gastropub menus.

According to Eater, the launch menu will include a "ribeye with provolone, caramelized onion and horseradish; a caprese with tomato and mozzarella; and a chicken tomatillo." Sounds pretty yummy, and at only $3.50 each, you can try the entire menu. Eventually, according to the Slide Ride website, they will also serve a pork bahn mi slider, a southwestern black bean slider and sides of red velvet whoopie pie. We're in just for the whoopie pie - anyone feel like bringing it to Chicagoist food HQ?
