Today just may be the hottest day of 2011 yet. Today's high is 98, and the humidity could bring us a heat index between 100 and 108 degrees this afternoon. There is a heat advisory in effect. If you have pets at home, leave the A/C on. Check in on your elderly friends and neighbors. Today is also an air pollution action day, so watch out for your lungs as well as your sweat glands.
