The "Whisk(e)y Passport Series" at Mrs, Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro (3905 N. Lincoln Ave.) centers on white whiskeys tonight. "White dogs" can range from subtle, nuanced whiskeys to stuff that will melt the lining from your mouth. Get to sample from a nice range of them for only $10. (7 p.m., reservations encouraged by calling 773-248-3905-.)

Cooking Classes

Flavour Cooking School (7401 W. Madison, Forest Park) has a class on cooking straight from the garden tonight from 7-9:30 p.m. Learn how to make garden tomato salad with “spiced” croutons, Thai basil and beef garden salad, spicy corn fritters, and corn crusted tilapia with mango strawberry salsa. Visit the school's website or call 708-488-0808 to RSVP.

Food Mobile

Fresh Moves is a mobile produce market that aims to teach healthy eating and provide fresh food to food deserts across the city. Senior Project Manager Dara Cooper will be the guest speaker tomorrow night when Café Society meets at Ron's Barber Shop (6058 W. North Ave.) starting at 5 p.m.
