Built between 1908 and 1910, the Frederick C. Robie house in Hyde Park is regarded as the epitome of Frank Lloyd Wright's Prairie Style, and was on the inaugural National Register of Historic Places in 1966. Robie House has also been the subject of many LEGO enthusiasts.
On Aug. 27 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., the two will meet as Robie House will host the launch of LEGO: Robie House, the newest addition to LEGO's Architecture Series.
The kit contains 2,726 pieces and is LEGO's largest and most detailed set in the series. Architectural artist Adam Reed Tucker will be on hand to discuss how he interpreted the building for the kit.
Robie House is located at 5757 S. Woodlawn Ave.
