Today in Maps: Netflix Local Favorites Across the U.S.

We love combining movies and cartography here at Chicagoist. Slackstory's Micah Mertes browsed the Netflix Local Favorites for all fifty states and put together a map of the most popular movies in one's area. In Illinois, that means the 2005 documentary on the World's Columbian Exposition, Expo: Magic of the White City, gets the nod.

We breathed a sigh of relief there as we were expecting The Blues Brothers to get another nod on a map. The state that sticks out like a sore thumb here is Steven's home state of Mississippi, where they can't seem to order Beverly Hills Chihuahua fast enough. this must be what passes for art house fare in the Magnolia State.
