Windy Citizen Breaks Down How Chicago Measures on Google+

We've received our Google+ invite - just what we need: another social media site vying to suck our time away - and Windy Citizen's Len Kody used a new tool called Find People on Plus to see how the onetime Hog Butcher for the World is embracing the erstwhile Facebook challenger.

As it turns out, Chicago is taking to Google+ quite well, ranking fourth in the nation in number of Google+ users. Kody also notes there's a huge gender disparity among Chicago area males versus females. That could be a simple aberration - Kody points out that Find People on Plus has only indexed just under a million users. That's a number that's sure to grow, as Google+ has over 10 million users in two weeks.
