In an upcoming Issue #666 (totally not kidding about this) in the Amazing Spider-Man comic book series, Spider-Man will save comic book stores around the country. Chicago's own Chicago Comics will be featured on the cover of 500 limited edition issues, making bona fide comic book history:

This is the first time that Marvel Comics has offered the option of personalization to comic book retailers, and Eric Kirsammer, owner of Chicago Comics, wanted to take advantage of the opportunity, in the hopes that the issue will become collectible and the store can become a part of comic history.
The issue featuring Chicago Comics on the cover will be released on July 27. After Spider-Man saves local comic book stores around the nation, we wonder if he could help solve the deficit issue for Mayor Emanuel in a future issue.
