Rep. Gutierrez Arrested Outside White House

Fourth District Rep. Luis Gutierrez was arrested outside the White House about an hour ago. The longtime Democratic congressman was participating in an immigration protest and was placed in handcuffs when he refused to leave after being asked.

Prior to being arrested, Gutierrez told the Media Research Center, "I think (President Obama) should use the broad discretionary power that the laws have conferred upon him and make decisions, smart decisions" regarding immigration law and deportation.
