The drama at 35th and Shields today wasn't just relegated to making trades. Alex Rios was benched in favor of Charlotte call-up Alejandro De Aza.
De Aza, who lead the International League in hits and total bases prior to his call-up, promptly reminded White Sox fans how a center fielder should perform. De Aza's two-run home run in the second inning was all John Danks needed. Danks is 4-0 in his last six starts and struck out a career high 10 in six innings of work. Sergio Santos notched his 21st save for the White Sox
