Chuck's Fest to Amply Fill Toyota Park

By Chuck Sudo in Food on Jul 27, 2011 8:40PM

2011_7_27_chucks_fest.jpg Chuck's Fest, the annual festival of barbecue, Cajun cooking, Mexican food and beer thrown by Chuck Pine of Chuck's Southern Comforts Café in suburban Burbank, has grown at such a clip in recent years that this year's version looks to fill the parking lot at Toyota Park in neighboring Bridgeview.

It also doesn't hurt that Pine and his crew will be featuring over 100 craft beers on tap from brewers such as Metropolitan, Two Brothers, Abita, Central Waters, Mendocino, Brooklyn, Lagunitas, and Duvel, among others. The music lineup runs the gamut from rock, blues and soul to Zydeco and Cajun music.

Admission is only $5 for the Sept. 9-11 festival.
