Odd Future Plans Tour, Nation's Music Writers Plan Indignation

Controversial rap collective Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All have announced their first North American tour, which includes a stop at Chicago's Metro. Music writers, start your think pieces!
Odd Future leader Tyler Comma The Creator*, plus many other people** actually making interesting music, will hit the 1,100-capacity club on October 14.
Odd Future, who shot toward popular consciousness with a prolific series of free mixtapes at-times filled with horrific first-person narratives about rape, murder and psychological torment -- but don't call it horrorcore! -- recently gave a performance at the Pitchfork Music Festival.
I bet you're hearing about this fact for the first time, so let's fill you in on the details. There was lots of gallivanting, stage diving while wearing casts, and lots of people were called either faggots or bitches. Fun for the whole family!
If nothing else, it should be interesting to see how the act translates to a much smaller venue. No word on when tickets go on sale, as the show is not on the Metro's calendar page yet. Check out the legitimately great video for one of Goblin's -- Tyler Comma The Creator's solo effort from this year -- few standout tracks, "Yonkers."
*Side note: For all the talk of rape, misogyny, murder and mayhem in his lyrics, Tyler's content basically boils down to this: "My Dad Sucks." Over and over and over again, for more than an hour of sluggish, dull music. In other words, it takes Tyler 80 minutes to not accomplish something that pop-punk legends The Descendants accomplished in 40 seconds.
**See: Domo Genesis, Mellowhype, Frank Ocean, The Jet Age of Tomorrow, etc.
