Clam Bake

Tomorrow is the final clambake of the season at Fulton's on the River. $25 will get you all the baked clams and sides you can eat, along with two servings of ice cold Hoegaarden white ale. (315 N. LaSalle St., 5-8 p.m.)

Tacos

The latest chef to create a taco for Mercadito's "Tacos for Strength" campaign is Ryan Poli, the former Perennial chef who's heading the soon-to-open Tavernita. His taco is made from marinated grilled shrimp, watermelon and tomato salad, pickled red onions. Proceeds from the sales of these tacos will benefit Share Our Strength's ongoing efforts to fight childhood hunger in America. The Poli taco launches at Mercadito (108 W. Kinzie St.) today.

Jazz

If there ever was a better time to get out of the heat and enjoy a couple of martinis at Green Mill, it's tonight. Mondays also happen to be Patricia Barber's regular residency at the venerated Uptown club. (4802 N. Broadway, 9 p.m. - 1 a.m., $7 cover)
