Warner Bros. Releases First Superman Shots, Laurence Fishburne Cast as Perry White

Warner Brothers Pictures released a shot of Henry Cavill donning the Superman costume for the upcoming Superman: Man of Steel. Tell you one thing: Cavill's no George Reeves.

When filming for the Zack Snyder-directed film begins in Chicago this Sunday, keep an eye out for Laurence Fishburne around town. The actor who played Morpheus in The Matrix trilogy and made the phrase "eat the cake, Anna Mae" so menacing it still gives us chills has been cast as Daily Planet editor Perry White.
