Marc Maron's On Quite The Tear

Marc Maron has seen quite an uptick as far as moving the needle on the cultural radat into the red. He's been doing stand-up for over 15 years, and has a roster of famous friends, acquaintances and long standing grudges to show for it. He's parlayed those connections into the uniformly excellent WTF podcasts, seriously there is not a bad episode in the bunch, and is finally receiving the recognition he long deserved.
Sharply funny, Maron's stage show can be pretty fluid depending on his mood. From what we've seen and heard his greatest asset is his mind that speeds along about a few seconds ahead of the rest of us, allowing him to turn random moments into full blown and hilariously architected rants. He's in town for a few nights at Mayne Stage and we suggest you try and snag a seat at one of those shows and get a full-on dose of maron.
August 5 and 6 at Mayne Stage, 1328 Morse, 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
