Mark Bazer has a strong lineup for tonight's installment of "The Interview Show." the marquee guest is comedian Marc Maron, who is also in town for a show at Mayne Stage. (Tankboy will preview that a bit later.) also on Bazer's docket: the Ubiquitous Jon Langford, musician Lawrence Peters and Chicago News Cooperative editor James O'Shea. (The Hideout, 1354 W. Film
Steven previewed The 7th Voyage of Sinbad earlier this week. It screens tonight at the Cultural Center as part of their Movie Mojo Film Series in conjunction with the free art exhibition “Movie Mojo: Hand-Painted Posters from Ghana." All who show up for the screening are eligible to win a reproduction of the movie poster of the featured screening that night. (78 E. Washington, 6:30 p.m.)
Food
Graham Elliot Bowles has the food court at Lollapalooza on lockdown for a second straight year, but if you want to grab some eats before, Jake Melnick's Pork-a-Palooza is worth checking out. Featured menu items include “A Rush of Pork to the Head” Chipotle Berry Ribs, “I’ll Stick Around” for a Pork sandwich, “No Resistance” Pulled Pork Tacos and “Watch Me Burn” Sundae - vanilla ice cream topped with a bourbon and ghost pepper caramel sauce, whipped cream, and peanut M&M’s.
