A 22-year-old woman fell to her death in Uptown while trying to climb a ladder to the roof around 5 a.m. Sunday. Patrycja Wiszkowska, 22, fell 35 feet when one of the rungs of the ladder broke. The Sun-Times writes:

She fell from the third floor while attempting to climb a ladder to the roof, (News Affairs Officer Robert) Perez said.

Wiszkowska was attending a party in the building and was “highly intoxicated” when she and a friend attempted to climb to the roof, a source said.

Police confirmed that people were drinking, but did not say she was drinking.
