All Beer

Revolution Brewing releases two new brews today for its Mug Club members. El Hefe Loco is a Bavarian weizen with that banana aroma and rocky head all the best weizens carry. Mr. Crowley is a wonderfully hoppy belgo-american pale ale that features Nelson Sauvin hops from New Zealand. It's fruity in a different way with pineapple notes laid over a crisp summer ale base. This beer is part of the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild "Replicale" program that showcases different brewers making the same style beer.

Franklin Tap (325 S. Franklin) will host a “Meet the Brewers” event from 5-7 p.m. with brewers from Goose Island on hand to meet and greet with guests. A selection of Goose Island's classic, seasonal and premium beers will be specially priced at $3-$5 per pint. Participants will have a chance to win raffle prizes and giveaways, including brewers jerseys, glassware, t-shirts and more.

Get your first taste of Bell's Octoberfest at Longman & Eagle tonight. Chef Jared Wentworth will pair a 10oz. pour of Bell's Octoberfest with a housemade pork sausage, lentils, kale and pork sugo starting at 5pm and served throughout dinner service for $11. (2657 N. Kedzie)
