2011_8_31PigRoast.jpg If you haven't bought tickets for the Slow Food Chicago Pig Roast on Sunday, September 11, what is wrong with you? If you love meat, beer, or meat with beer, this is the night for you. Chicago's best chefs are getting together at Goose Island Beer Company for a huge party, with food, drink, live music and dessert. You get a commemorative beer glass - and there's even a vegetarian option! What more could they offer?

The chefs involved include some of Chicagoist's favorites: Rob Levitt
(The Butcher & Larder), Nicole Pederson (C-House), Matt Troost (Three Aces) and Rick Gresh (David Burke's Primehouse). These chefs know their meat. The vegetarian option is being prepared by Chris Spear of Uncommon Ground - and all veggies know that if you want solid vegetarian fare, that's the place to go. Pair it all with Goose Island beers and desserts by Stephanie Samuels of Angel Food Bakery, and you're sure to get more than $60 worth of fun.

Buy your tickets now.

The event runs from 2-5 on the 11th, at the Goose Island location at 1800 West Fulton Street.
