Morning Box Score: Cubs Can't Finish Giants Sweep

The Cubs closed out their first winning month this season... with a loss to the World Champion Giants. San Francisco avoided the sweep as Madison Bumgarner struck out 11 Cubs over eight innings of two-hit ball. The two hits were the Cubs lowest total since last September, also against the Giants. Jeff Keppinger and Pablo Sandoval hit back-to-back homers to provide support for Bumgarner and give Rodrigo Lopez the loss.
