Last-Minute Plans: Save the Clocktower

Here at Chicagoist we're huge fans of Save the Clocktower. Our own Sarah Cobarrubias wrote that their latest album, Carousel, was "refreshingly diverse and manages to surprise the listener with each track."
Save the Clocktower hasn't played a local gig all summer. That is, until tonight. They're headlining a bill at Beat Kitchen with Brontosaurus opening. Showtime starts at 10 p.m.; Save the Clocktower's James Shenk said they should take the stage around 11:30 p.m. For a primer of the band's mix of alt-rock, electronic dance, and synth pop, stream Carousel here.
