Paul "Handsome Paul" Gutierrez
Remember Paul "Handsome Paul" Gutierrez? He's the Elgin limousine driver who set up a website in order to help him find a wife after scores of other attempts backfired, often hilariously. We even interviewed him about his quest for a mate in June.

It appears the website didn't work, either. So Gutierrez has fallen back to one of his more successful plans (relatively speaking) to trying to find that one person who will love him to death parts them - donning an animal costume. Gutierrez stood at the corner of National and Grove in Elgin yesterday wearing a monkey mask and holding a sign that read "Help: Wife Wanted" with a link to his website.

Gutierrez told TribLocal's Melissa Jenco, “I figured this way I’d reach more people around the area I live in." Gutierrez hopes the monkey mast gives the curious a positive first impression not based on his appearance.

Gutierrez's offer to give up half his salary to the woman who eventually becomes his wife still stands.
