White Sox 8, Cleveland 1

A couple of milestones were reached in last night's rout of the Indians at U.S. Cellular Field. Third baseman Brent Morel had his first multi-homer game and drove in half the Sox' runs. Paul Konerko drove in the other four with a grand slam in a seven run seventh inning. Juan Pierre, who started the season looking old and slow only to rebound into one of the team's better players, hit his 2,000th career hit with a third inning single. It wasn't enough for Gavin Floyd to earn the win; Floyd only lasted 5-2/3 innings. ON the down side, Brent Lillibridge is done for the season with a broken hand.
