05678_Owen-Ghost_Town-Press_Pic-438.jpg Owen, the nom de folk of former Cap'n Jazzer Mike Kinsella, is set to release the full-length follow-up to 2009's gorgeous, autumnal New Leaves on November 8th. Hear the first single from Ghost Town, "I Believe," here.
Ghost Town's "I Believe" promises a record that builds on its predecessor's gentle, contemplative nature by adding more prominent rock-inspired textures. (Check out that driving, Yo La Tengo-styled guitar-fuzz and hard-hitting drums toward the end of the track). Ghost Town is now available for pre-order through Polyvinyl. Check out the Polyvinyl page for details.

As a bonus, listen to Owen's cover of The Smiths' "Girlfriend In A Coma," which was a b-side to Ghost Town single's "Oh, Evelyn" from earlier this year.
