To celebrate next week's release of their excellent Neverendless, local krautrockers Cave are playing a series of shows Thursday on the back of a mobile truck. That's right: they're setting up a flatbed, and play the city as they go.

According to Cave's rep at Drag City, the Cave caravan starts at noon at the Logan Square monument, then moves to Ashland and Milwaukee, and on to to the Wicker Park Reckless Records location before wrapping up with a show at underground DIY venue Mortville. Bicyclists are encourage to caravan with the band.

The Mortville show will start at about 10 p.m., with Nude Sunrise and Wumb opening up. If you prefer your Cave at a more traditional space, fret not: the band plays the Brilliant Corners of Popular Amusement fest Friday.

To psych yourself up for Neverendless, check out an MP3 of "Adam Roberts," a track from the new album.
