2011_09_18_nana.png Bridgeport favorite Nana will be appearing on the Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” next week, and the restaurant is celebrating with a free party. The episode airs Monday, Sept. 26 at 9 p.m., and Nana is hosting a free viewing party from 8 to 10 p.m. with free canapés. The restaurant, located at 3267 S. Halsted St., focuses on organic ingredients with a Latin influence.

As you watch the show on jumbo screens, the cash bar will be offering the new fall cocktail menu. We like the sound of the fig and almond old-fashioned. Canapés include fried oyster po'boys, sweet potato chips, duck confit biscuits and gravy, and ice cream sandwiches.
