2011_9_27_PTI.jpg Whiskey Tasting

Few Spirits is starting to reach back bars across the area. Tonight from 8-11 p.m. at Delilah's Paul Hletko and his crew will be spreading the gospel of Few in front of some masses in need of enlightenment. They frankly couldn't have picked a better whiskey bar in Chicago for this. (2771 N. Lincoln Ave.)

DJ Night

Kevin and I had fun spinning soul music last Thursday at Maria's Packaged Goods and Community Bar. If you're a Miles Davis fan head down to the wunnerful Bridgeport area tonight from 9 p.m. - midnight. Jazz writer Aaron Cohen will be spinning songs from the first two decades of the career of Miles Dewey Davis. While you're there take advantage of the $2 shitty beer special. (960 W. 31st St.)

Independent Spirits Expo

A reminder that tomorrow the Independent Spirits Expo takes place at Bottom Lounge (1375 W. Lake St.). Celebrating micro-distilleries, the people who make them and the customers who drink them, the expo gets started at 6:30 p.m. and runs through 9 p.m. with a VIP reception at 5 p.m. You can purchase tickets here.
