One for the Road: Bring a Bad-ass Hammer

We wanted to share this trade show commercial for the Wilton BASH sledgehammer for two reasons. First: that's a bad-ass sledgehammer. Everyone likes to swing a sledgehammer around now and then. It's fun to smash shit with a sledgehammer, pure and simple. It's why everyone pretends to be Thor when they pick up a sledgehammer.

Second: the commercial was shot in The Plant, the onetime former Peer Foods warehouse that's getting a second life as a model for sustainable urban agriculture and food business.

Samuel Evans of New Chicago Brewing Company, one of The Plant's tenants, shared the sledgehammer video on their Facebook page yesterday. If you'll excuse us now, we're going to find where that hammer is sold.
