Double Farts: Swearing Now Legal in Park Ridge

No shit: Residents of Park Ridge, you are now free to drop f-bombs:

As part of an effort to clean up city ordinances, the Park Ridge City Council deleted a law that made it illegal “to use profanity in any street, alley or public place of the City.”

It’s about goddamn time. Perhaps someone should organize a swear-in to formally inaugurate the policy. And don’t be afraid to gesticulate: The council also revised the definition of disorderly conduct to permit “abusive or obscene language” and gestures.

We fully expect Dan Sinker to endorse the event with a public @MayorEmanuel reading.
